What is Black Zan Leather (Kurozan-gawa)? It is a rare leather produced by fusing Japan's traditional tanning technology (dating back to the Edo period) with lacquer (Urushi) coating technology (originally used for arms and armor/Samurai armor). Only a few dozen sheets can be produced per month.

Note: The lacquer is fully hardened, so there are absolutely no concerns about allergies.

The surface has a natural grain (shibo/irregular texture), and the "grain-like particles" create a luxurious feel, as if "small diamonds" were scattered across it.

By applying layers of lacquer by hand, it achieves a deep black luster and shine, as well as a profound depth of color.

The original hide is from domestically raised Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black cattle)—in short, Japanese Wagyu leather.

This is not just a simple lacquer finish; it represents a fusion of "Leather × Traditional Technology × Art," balancing both the "coating that preserves the beauty of the grain surface" and the "tanning" process.

The leather is "durable and highly resistant to friction and impact" (Proven by its use in armor and protective gear).

The bag and strap are detachable, allowing for customized usage tailored to the wearer.
